THE POSITION: Performs a wide variety of secretarial duties that include scheduling and coordinating meetings and conferences; oral and written communications; word processing and record-keeping.
Requirements / Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS: Training, Education and Experience: Any combination of education, training and/or experience which demonstrates ability to perform the duties as described, including courses in office practices and procedures and experiences in relating effectively with staff and the public. We prefer a minimum of at least one year business experience. Bilingual in Spanish is required
Skills in: Written communication skills, being able to prepare clear, concise letters, memoranda and other written documents with correct grammar, punctuation and spelling; oral communication skills; organization skills with the ability to set priorities; mathematical computational skills; reading comprehension skills, being able to interpret policies, administrative regulations, and programs, and being able to accurately interpret them to others; record-keeping skills establishing and maintaining file systems and procedures; human relations skills establishing and maintaining cooperative relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
