THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS MUST BE SUBMITTED WITH YOUR APPLICATION: This position requires ESSA (Every Students Succeed Act) compliance by: Transcripts showing completion of 2 years study (minimum of 48 units or degree awarded) at an institution of higher education or pass a local academic assessment demonstrating knowledge of and ability to assist in instructing reading, writing and mathematics (ESSA test certificate from Stanislaus County Office of Education, or CBEST, etc..

BASIC FUNCTION: Under the supervision of the Principal of the Academy, assist in the direction, coordination and facilitation of the activities of the students as it pertains to creating and maintaining a military and character training environment; assists in individualized instruction program designed by the teacher; assist in testing, scoring tests and in the evaluation of instruction and student’s progress and problems; assure student compliance with the academy and County attendance and discipline policies and regulations. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and one year experience working with youth is desirable. A minimum of two (2) years active duty experience within the Armed Forces of the United States with an honorable discharge is desirable. Military style dress may be required. LICENSE & OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must be ESSA compliant by: Hold an AA Degree or completion of two years of study (minimum of 48 units) at an institution of higher education or pass a local academic assessment demonstrating knowledge of and the ability to assist in instructing reading, writing and mathematics. Must obtain upon employment First Aid and CPR certification. Valid California Driver's License Meet SCOE"s driving and training requirements. Uniforms are provided and must be worn when on campus or on duty. BENEFITS: A Benefit Entitlement for health, dental and vision coverage is available for positions that are at least 4 hours per day. The amount of the entitlement is based on the number of hours worked per day.
