Job Summary
Under the direction of the Superintendent, the Associate Superintendent, Personnel Support Services, is responsible for the comprehensive management and development of the Personnel Support Services Division. The role leads the planning, coordinating, and executing all aspects of personnel procedures and policies. The Associate Superintendent maintains close liaison with the Personnel Commission and provides confidential support to the Superintendent and the Board of Education while overseeing a wide array of administrative and technical functions, including credentialing, employee relations, performance management, employee benefits, organizational development, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Requirements / Qualifications
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of five (5) years of increasingly responsible and successful experience in school administration, particularly in employee negotiations and personnel selections and management is required. District Office level experience in the personnel field is highly desired. EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS: • A master’s degree in Education Administration, and/or Personnel Management, or a related field is a minimum requirement. • Possession of a Clear California Administrative Services Credential. PHYSICAL ABILITIES AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT: The position requires the ability to perform tasks in a busy office environment, including lifting, carrying, and maintaining accurate records. A valid California Driver’s License is necessary.
Required Documents: • Letter of Introduction (addressed to Dr. Ben Churchill, Superintendent) • Three (3) Letters of Recommendation signed within the last 12 months (One (1) should come from an immediate supervising administrator). • Resume
