Job Summary
Under the direction of the Executive Director, Facilities Planning and Construction, the Construction Project Manager’s primary focus is to deliver projects efficiently, on schedule, within budget, and in strict adherence to all project guidelines, District policies, and relevant state and local laws; effectively manages the District’s construction projects through all phases, involving expert project coordination, serving as a liaison between diverse groups, and closely overseeing outside contractor performance; ensures effective and timely communication with all internal District departments, school sites, external agencies, and community stakeholders.

2526-13 (Dual-Merged) The in-person oral examination is tentatively scheduled between September 19 - 26, 2025. (by invitation only) *** Final in-person hiring interview will be conducted approximately one week after the oral examination. *** An examination will be administered to establish an eligibility list for the position of Construction Project Manager in order to fill a future vacancy. This position is full-time, 260 paid days per year. Eligibility list will be valid for six (6) months. A letter of introduction/cover letter, three (3) recent letters of recommendation (within 12 months), and resume must be submitted with completed application online by 4:30 PM on the closing date. Incomplete applications and faxed materials will not be considered. APPLICATION PROCEDURE: Completed online applications must be received by 4:30 p.m. on the closing date. Resumes will not be accepted in lieu of a completed application or supplemental questions; however, applicants may submit resumes along with the completed online application. A resume will not be accepted in lieu of a completed application. Make sure your application thoroughly details your education and work experience. The examination process may include one or more of the following: written exam, performance and/or technical oral examination. Exam starts promptly at the scheduled time; latecomers will not be admitted. Candidates may be required to present valid photo identification prior to sign-in.
