TRAINING, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: High School degree or recognized equivalent; no direct experience is required. Basic first aid knowledge is also a requirement. A completed on-line application is required in order to be considered for the opening. After submitting a completed application there is a MANDATORY written test for this classification on September 12, 2025 at 9 a.m. Tests are administered at the District Office in the Human Resources Department, at 321 Iowa Street, Fallbrook, CA 92028. Under general supervision, to direct and control vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow to ensure safe street crossings for students; to monitor student activity on the playground before school, during lunch, or after school. Responsible for taking minor disciplinary action against students when necessary and for reporting names of students who are discipline problems to the school principal or his/her designee. Student Safety Monitors may be responsible for administering first aid to students and for reporting all injuries to the principal or his/her designee.
