
SAFETY MONITOR (SAN ONOFRE) at Fallbrook Union Elementary School District
Requirements / Qualifications
TRAINING, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: High School degree or recognized equivalent; no direct experience is required. Basic first aid knowledge is also a requirement. A completed on-line application is required in order to be considered for the opening. After submitting a completed application there is a MANDATORY written test for this classification on September 12, 2025 at 9 a.m. Tests are administered at the District Office in the Human Resources Department, at 321 Iowa Street, Fallbrook, CA 92028. YOU WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED IF TESTING IS NOT COMPLETED
This position is open to all qualified candidates. CURRENT FUESD EMPLOYEES: You must also submit an on-line application, along with all required documents. We do not accept any faxed, emailed, or mailed documents. Under general supervision, to direct and control vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow to ensure safe street crossings for students; to monitor student activity on the playground before school, during lunch, or after school. Responsible for taking minor disciplinary action against students when necessary and for reporting names of students who are discipline problems to the school principal or his/her designee. Student Safety Monitors may be responsible for administering first aid to students and for reporting all injuries to the principal or his/her designee. It is the policy of this District that employment will be offered to the successful candidate contingent upon satisfactory completion of a pre-placement physical, drug/alcohol-screening test, fingerprint clearance with the Department of Justice and FBI, and a current verification of a negative T.B. test or chest x-ray.
