Requirements / Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a field closely related to the knowledge and ability requirements of this classification is required. Experience: Five (5) years of experience in managing purchasing and contract administration, and/or school district transportation equivalent, including at least two (2) years of supervisory responsibility in administering a purchasing, warehouse, transportation, or reprographics program is required. License: • Possession of a valid Class C California Driver's License and insurability to drive a District vehicle as part of the District’s Pull Notice program is required. Special information: • The operation of a District vehicle is required. • All applicants will be required to submit a recent (less than one month old from the recruitment closing date) DMV printout (H-6) showing their driving records for the past 10 years.

APPLICATION PROCESS EXAMINATION This is a promotional recruitment. The examination process may consist of the following: a supplemental response evaluation, performance examination, and/or structured oral interview. To qualify to be placed on an eligibility list, a candidate must obtain a passing score on each part of the examination. The resulting eligibility list will be used for up to twelve months to fill vacancies.
