Under the general direction of the Associate Superintendent, Business Services, plans, organizes, and directs a comprehensive nutrition service program in compliance with local, State, and Federal regulations.

Education: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with a major in institution management, dietetics, public health, foods and nutrition, hotel and restaurant management, business administration or closely related field. Experience: Five years of nutrition service experience including three years of which was in an administrative, management, or supervisory capacity in nutrition/food service. Special: Possession of a valid California Class C Driver License. Evidence of adequate insurance for a motor vehicle, which meets or exceeds the California legal liability insurance requirement and the ability to maintain insurability. Food Handlers Certificate approved by the State of California. Registered Dietician (R.D.) status with the American Dietetic Association or School Nutrition Specialist (SNS) with the School Nutrition Association is desirable. Incumbents must complete at least 12 hours of annual continuing education and training per the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) standards.
