Job Summary

The El Dorado County Office of Education is seeking a collaborative Program Specialist to join our Geographic SELPA team. This position plays a key role in supporting local school districts to strengthen special education programs, improve outcomes for students with disabilities, and foster inclusive practices across our county. Grounded in EDCOE’s core values of Service, Relationships, and Innovation, the Program Specialist will provide technical assistance, professional learning, and systems-level support to districts, schools, and educators. We are looking for a strong communicator and collaborator who is committed to building district capacity, cultivating positive partnerships, and bringing creative solutions to complex challenges.

Requirements / Qualifications

Education: Valid Special Education Credential or Pupil Personnel Services Credential or California Administrative Services Credential or Master’s Degree in education or related field with a valid California credential. Experience: Minimum five (5) years’ experience in an educational setting in programs that may include special education or general education. Desired Qualifications: • Master’s Degree • Administrative Experience
