The job of " Transitional Kindergarten Instructional Aide” is done for the purpose/s of assisting, under direct supervision, in the supervision and instruction of students, and relieving teachers of routine clerical tasks.
Requirements / Qualifications
Experience Required: One-year prior job-related experience paid or volunteer with school-age children preferred. Education Required: Completed at least two years of study at an institution of higher education; or obtained an associate’s (or higher) degree; or met a rigorous standard of quality and can demonstrate, through a formal State or local academic assessment of knowledge of, and the ability to assist in instructing, reading, writing, and mathematics.

This position is 6.00 hours per day, 180 days per year in the Transitional Kindergarten Class at Baldwin Lane Elementary School
Successful applicants must obtain and/or provide the following before beginning employment:
-Fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice and/or FBI
-Proof of tuberculosis clearance
-Social security card for payroll purposes
-Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
Employment with Bear Valley Unified School District is not complete or official until applicants meet all pre-employment requirements, including Governing Board approval.
