Job Summary
Under the direction of the Director, Child Development Programs, or Administrative designee, the Curriculum Resource Teacher, Early Learning, provides support and guidance with services to schools, teachers, and families in alignment with the goals and activities of the California State Preschool Program. A. Valid California Teacher’s credential (Multiple Subject) include at least 24 ECE or CD uits or Child Development Director Permit.
Requirements / Qualifications
The following documents are required for this position:
Valid California Teacher’s credential (Multiple Subject), including at least 24 semester units in early childhood education or childhood development or Child Development Director Permit. Five years of experience working with preschool-age children.
- Copy of Transcript (BA plus Post BA Units/Degrees, including proof of at least 24 semester units in early childhood education or childhood development))
- Credential Copy (attach a detailed copy of the credential from the CTC: Multiple Subject Credential plus at least 24 semester units in early childhood education, or childhood development or A child development teacher permit issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC), Do not submit the certificate version of the credential or an expired credential)
- English Learner Authorization (attach a detailed copy of the credential from the CTC)
- Letter of Introduction (Personal letter of introduction stating reasons for interest in the Westminster School District and unique qualifications for this position)
- Letter(s) of Recommendation (Three current letters of reference dated within the last year, one of which is from your current supervisor)
- Resume (Professional resume providing biographical background information about educational preparation, experience, and achievements)
