Job Summary
Kashia is an essential small school district serving the Kashia Pomo Rancheria community located at Stewarts Point, California. At present, there are 7 students ranging from grades K-8, with a full-time Principal/Lead Teacher, a full-time Classroom Teacher, and a full-time Classroom Assistant. The community is very close-knit and in need of someone who understands the Native American community along the California Coast. As the part-time Superintendent, you work closely with the Kashia Board of Trustees; providing guidance and maintaining the legal requirements of the school. You will also work with the Sonoma County Office of Education to ensure timely reporting and other requirements are met. This is a part-time position that requires three full days of on-site work per month.

Comments and Other Information
Requires current California Multiple Subjects and Administrative Services credentials. Requires a minimum of three years teaching experience, and three years of experience as a superintendent. Knowledge of the Pomo culture preferred.
