Job Summary
Job Summary
Under general direction of the Director of School Services, the Safety & Compliance Generalist is responsible for data collection, research, and compliance mandates as is required by state and federal law. The Safety & Compliance Generalist will learn and apply clearly defined program and research design procedures, conduct surveys, design data structures, and analyze statistical information, as well as track and report the appropriate state and federal information required for compliance. The Safety & Compliance Generalist shall implement expanded knowledge of research procedures, possess the ability to design and coordinate program steps to meet standards and outcomes, perform difficult assessments using statistical inferences, and coordinate the preparation of data driven reports. Requirements / Qualifications

Preferred college graduate or equivalent combination of experience, training, and education with prior experience working in a research or data management environment . 2 years of direct supervisory or management experience preferred . Must have strong and polished interpersonal, written and oral communication skills . Creative, strategic and analytical thinker with the ability to manage multiple projects . Experienced in developing and managing budgets, hiring, and training, supervising and assessing personnel . Must be highly organized and able to work well with others . Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows based computer application and database management . Previous supervisory experience, and experience interacting with school boards and community-based organization preferred . Able to work with a variety of populations, including adults who are inrecovery, adults transitioning out of homelessness, and persons in need of ourunique academic offerings . The ability to communicate with a diverse group of people on a daily basis . Possession of a valid California driver's license
