Job Summary
Provide a combination of classroom-based and virtual instruction to high school students in an independent study environment; demonstrate the skills and abilities to work in both an in-person and a virtual learning environment; collaborate with staff to provide an optimal learning environment for at-promise students; evaluate student progress and communicate progress to students; implement teacher standards.
Requirements / Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required, Masters’ Degree preferred Previous successful teaching experience in an alternative school setting is desired Experience and passion for working with at-promise student population preferred Appropriate valid and current California Multiple Subject or Single Subject Teaching Credential English Learner Authorization/CLAD Certificate or Bilingual Authorization/BLCAD or Certificate of Completion of Staff Development (CCSD) or equivalent required Why SIATech? Salary: $76,903.78-$129,166.20
Maximum of 7 years experience credited
Master's Stipend $2,000; Doctorate Stipend $2,000; Dual Credential Stipend $5,000
Benefits:
Member of California State Teacher's Retirement System (STRS). SIATech contributes 19.1% of salary to STRS annually (2025-2026)
