St. Pius X- St. Matthias Academy is seeking a long-term math substitute for Geometry and Geometry Honors.

St. Pius X - St. Matthias Academy, located in Downey, California, offers a Catholic university experience for teenagers. We believe that a college education is a right rather than a privilege. Our mission is to provide all students opportunities to grow in faith, learn without limits, and live with a purpose. 

Instructional staff members serve the school’s mission by facilitating daily meaningful learning experiences according to the school’s professional standards in planning, subject matter competency, curriculum and instruction, assessment, and professional development centered on the mission of the St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related subject is required.

• Master’s degree and/or single subject credential preferred

• Three years of teaching high school students in the subject area is preferred.

• Preference is given to practicing Roman Catholics.
