CAMPUS SUPERVISION AIDE BASIC FUNCTION: Under supervision, assist administration in monitoring student and non-student behavior; encourage proper behavior on campus; and perform related duties as required. EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Observe and control student behavior in non-classroom activities before, during and after school hours; 2. Patrol campus grounds, parking lots, restrooms, etc.; 3. Instruct students and non-students in proper and lawful behavior; 4. Assist in the monitoring of non-students on campus to prevent loitering; 5. Report incidents, such as smoking, drinking, or drug usage to the campus administration; 6. Write reports for District and law enforcement agencies; 7. Make recommendations to administration regarding campus security as appropriate; 8. Report suspects committing, or attempting to commit, crimes on campus premises; 9. Detain and deliver students and non-students to administration as authorized; and 10. Assist administrator in supervising the overall conduct of students as assigned; KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: 1. Knowledge of Penal Code sections and District policies related to orderly conduct on campus property desired; 2. Ability to establish and maintain the respect of students, staff, and campus visitors; 3. Ability to monitor and control the behavior and activities of students within established guidelines; 4. Ability to write concise and descriptive reports; and 5. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others. EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/EDUCATION: 1. Graduation from high school.

New three-year collective bargaining agreement; Salary schedule beginning 7.1.25 will include a 2% salary schedule increase and a 2% off-schedule payment at year-end pending ratification 2026–2027: Salary schedule increase of 60% of the statutory funded COLA, plus any funded ongoing augmentations as provided in the State Budget Act; 2% off-schedule payment at year-end pending ratification 2027–2028: Salary schedule increase of 50% of the statutory funded COLA, plus any funded ongoing augmentations as provided in the State Budget Act; 2% off-schedule payment at year-end pending ratification
