Requirements / Qualifications

Additional Information: • This is a Full Time position = 5 hours Per Day • Three years successful preschool teaching experience is required. • Candidate must meet Health requirements and immunizations per SB792 and Licensing • Knowledge of CA State Preschool Program, Licensing requirements, CA Preschool Learning Foundations, DRDP, ECERS, CLASS, QRIS, CSEFEL, ASQ is preferred • As a condition of initial employment, all new hires must have a clear tuberculin exam within the past 60 days prior to beginning work with Fremont Unified School District.

  • Copy of Transcript (Copies of ALL transcripts noting BA Degree (foreign transcripts have been evaluated for US equivalency by a CTC approved agency))
  • CPR/First Aid Certification (Current Pediatric CPR/First Aid certification (EMSA) is required)
  • Letter of Introduction
  • Letter(s) of Recommendation ((within 2 years of application date), at least one from administrator or supervisor.)
  • Resume

  • Child Development Permit - Site Supervisor (Copy must be attached to application)

Fremont is part of the Bay Area, located Southeast of San Francisco and nestled near Silicon Valley. The following employment procedures will be followed: 1. Hiring staff review applications on file of those who possess the appropriate credential for the assignment. 2. Applicants for the specific assignments will be contacted for a scheduled interview. 3. Hiring staff will recommend candidates to Human Resources. 4. Human Resources staff will offer contracts after review of applicant's qualifications. 5.
