Job Summary

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Deputy Superintendent, the Senior Director of Maintenance, Operations, and Transportation will plan, coordinate, organize, control and direct the daily operations related to security, safety inspections, construction, maintenance, cleaning and repair of the county office buildings, facilities, grounds, and equipment; will assist in the coordination of planning, development, design and implementation of construction and renovation projects for county office programs and school districts as required; provide leadership, budget control and routine support to the County Office Transportation Department; provide leadership and assistance to school districts in are of maintenance, operations and facilities.

Requirements / Qualifications

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the required competencies Minimum of four (4) years of increasingly responsible experience in facilities planning and construction Licenses and Certifications: California Driver’s License with evidence of insurability

Desirable Qualifications: Master’s degree in a relevant field Graduate of CASH/FCMAT Leadership Academy Minimum of four (4) years of increasingly responsible experience in Transportation service, fleet operations or traffic services including three (3) years of supervisory responsibility. Bilingual/Biliterate in Spanish ForkLift Certified All foreign transcripts must be evaluated by a third party to determine the equivalent U.S. degree and major, and the Foreign Transcript Evaluation must be attached to your application before your application will be considered.
