Job Summary
Under the direction of the ELOP Director, Site Coordinator, or designee, assist in the daily activities of school-aged children in an assigned after-school extended day program; assist in planning and implementing activities; monitor and supervise children in classroom and outdoor activities.
Requirements / Qualifications
Knowledge of: Child development principles of TK and/or elementary school age children; District rules, regulations, laws, and policies governing child care programs; and ELOP policies and procedures. General computer skills. Pass required mathematics, reading and writing proficiency examination; or have two years of college (48 units) or an A.A. degree (or higher); or have passed the CBEST. 24 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units from an accredited college, or Child Development permit preferred. Possession of a valid California driver's license, if required. Possession of current First Aid and CPR cards.
