Requirements / Qualifications
Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school or equivalent and an AA Degree or 48 semester units from an accredited college and some experience working with children in an organized setting or pass the paraeducator exam. 1. Valid California class C driver’s license. 2. Must pass a District proficiency test in Math, Language Arts and the ability to assist in instruction if you dont possess the AA or 48 semester units. 3. Some incumbents may be required to be proficient in English and a designated second language and pass an oral and written proficiency test in a designated second language. Information for three Professional References must be provided.
