GENERAL JOB DUTIES: This position is responsible for creating, compiling, and editing the WASC report for FHS in order to earn accreditation from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. Coordinator assembles teacher groups, meets regularly outside of school time with the site principal and attends trainings throughout the year. The information and evidence compiled in this report are what the WASC committee uses to determine the competencies for the report are met. Coordinator is in attendance for every point of the visit including the weekend and time after school. In total a visit year requires approximately 120 hours from start to finish. Coordinator submits various items yearly for WASC, including evidence of meetings with teachers, site administration, and community stakeholders to determine current and projected goals for improvement. Coordinator writes what we have done and how we are going to improve on the areas of growth given by the WASC visiting committee. That information gets put into a written report and submitted. This process takes approximately 60 hours throughout the year and is done each year (even on non-WASC visit years).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Valid California Teaching Credential Valid California driver’s license
