Job Summary
Under the direction of an administrator and general direction of a classroom teacher and specialist, assist in the instructional support, behavioral support, personal care, and supervision of students with a wide range of disabilities. Provide intensive individualized services; participate in behavioral modification and management of students; assist students with and demonstrate proper physical care and hygienic needs; provide support with classroom organization, management, and safety.

In a promotional and open recruitment, the promotional list shall take precedence. If the promotional list contains fewer than three eligible and willing ranks, certification of additional ranks shall be made from the open list. The examination process will consist of a written competency examination. Applicants will be notified of their application status via email.
