Job Summary
Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Superintendent, takes complete responsibility and leadership for the Business, Maintenance, Operations, Transportation, Facilities, and Nutrition Services departments. Establishes and maintains the long-range vision for the District in these areas while maximizing resources to ensure efficient, cost-effective operations and oversight. Develops, implements, revises and interprets systems and procedures for the purpose of maintaining a smooth and efficient delivery of all department functions. Serves as principal advisor to the Superintendent in concerns emanating from matters related to district financial functions.
Requirements / Qualifications
THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS MUST BE SUBMITTED WITH THIS APPLICATION TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION: - BA Degree in accounting, finance, business administration or a closely related field: MA, MBA or CPA designation is desired - Five (5) years of experience in accounting systems and operations, financial reporting, and auditing - A CBO Certificate from CASBO or another accredited organization is highly desired (will be required to enroll if hired without certification) - Experience supervising and/or coordinating operations of Business, Maintenance, Operations, Transportation Management, and/or School Nutrition Management - Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication and human relations skills.
