Grade Level Chair K-2 Qualifications • Los Angeles Leadership Primary Academy employee • Teaching Credential • Knowledgeable of LALA policies and procedures • Proficient in implementation of technology • Effective Communication Skills • Satisfactory Evaluations Responsibilities • Support teachers with Instructional Programs, approved curriculum and teaching strategies through classroom observations, demonstrated lessons and/or meetings, follow-up with constructive non-evaluative feedback. • Support new teachers by holding at least one monthly meeting to review school-wide programs, expectations, teaching strategies and guide teachers to improve instruction. • Hold at least 2 meetings per semester to review data (Accelerated Reader, NWEA, and Attendance) • Meet with Administration at least once a month • Maintain a folder (Google Drive) with evidence of work as a Grade Level Chair • Hold monthly meetings with assigned Teachers (at least 1 meeting a month) • Establish and maintain a trusting and supportive relationship with colleagues
