Escuela Popular (EP) was established in 1986 as a grassroots community school to address the growing demand for English instruction in East San Jose. Within its first year, the school experienced rapid growth in enrollment and expanded its student body, class offerings, and services to meet the increasing need. By 2002, EP achieved independence and obtained non-profit status under the name Escuela Popular Del Pueblo. Vision: Education to transform lives.
