Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Site Administrator, assist certificated teaching staff by providing inclusion support for students with IEPs in the Special Day Class (SDC) classroom.

Requirements / Qualifications

Ed-Join Application Letter of Introduction Resume 3 Current Letters of Recommendation (within the last year) High School Diploma or Equivalent and; Two years of college (48 units); or A.A. Degree, or Pass a Proficiency Test in math, writing and reading. Must be passed with a minimum score of 70% in each section Must provide proof of units or degree or pass the proficiency test before applicants can move forward to the interview process.

Part-Time - 6 hours per day / Five Days per week. Required: Ability to understand oral and written instructions; must have a genuine fondness for children. Fluency in English, proficiency in basic math, reading, and writing skills. An employee in this class performs specific duties associated with the particular program in which assigned.
