The Gridley Unified School District is hiring various on-call subbing positions. We are accepting on-call subbing applications for the following: Clerical (Office Clerk or Secretary) Instructional Aide Noon Duty Supervisor (Yard Duty & Crossing Guard) Bus Driver or Car Van Driver Nutrition (Cafeteria Helper) Media Clerk Custodian Maintenance/Grounds Worker

In order to be considered, the EdJoin application must be completed in full. Verification of minimum requirements as specified below must be attached to your EdJoin application. > Instructional Aides - Verification of meeting NCLB requirements, such as an Associate's Degree, or transcripts from an accredited higher education institution showing at least 48 semester units, or an Instructional Aide Local Assessment Test Certificate showing you passed > Bus Drivers: CA Driver's license Class B with PS endorsement, and Medical Certificate, and DMV Driver Record. Must be eligible to be enrolled in Random Drug Testing consortium and FMCSA Driver Record Pull. > Car Van Drivers: CA Driver's license Class A or C, and Medical Certificate, and DMV Driver Record. Must be eligible to be enrolled in Random Drug Testing consortium and FMCSA Driver Record Pull. > Clerical: Typing certificate (must be from acceptable organization showing a test of three (3) to five (5) minutes with identity verified. > All positions require a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to communicate and interact with staff, students, parents and others in a friendly manner effectively, ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals, and ability to understand and follow instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
