Job Summary
The job of TK Instructional Assistant is done for the purpose/s of assisting (under direct supervision) in the supervision, instruction, and assessment of young children. A TK Instructional Assistant reports directly to the site principal.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Completed Classified Employment Application - Letter of Introduction -Three Letters of Recommendation (dated within the past 12 months with at least one from a supervisor) - Resume - High School Diploma or equivalent AND proof of having completed at least six (6) units in Early Childhood Education - Proof of passing the District's IA Proficiency Exam (which may be taken prior to applying at the SBUSD Human Resources Office located at 601 Elm Ave., Imperial Beach, CA 91932) OR proof of having completed at least 48 college credits
