Job Summary

Job Summary

The Bond Program Director shall be responsible for the District Bond Project Management. The Bond Program Director will be responsible for the successful planning, programming, design, and construction of District Facilities. The Bond Program Director will provide District leadership required to complete a major capital development program. The position will plan and direct fiscal and human resources for the facilities planning and construction/reconstruction of all existing facilities.

Requirements / Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Preferred Bilingual • Certified Construction Management degree or equivalent • Bachelor’s degree or six (6) years of successful experience as a Construction Manager in facilities, maintenance, construction, engineering, or a related field. • A thorough knowledge of construction management, contract development, and contract administration • A proven track record in budget management, personnel management, public relations, and public records management • Prefer six years of increasingly responsible supervisory experience in property management, contractor, and trades supervisor at Facilities or a similar type of environment, supplemented by several postsecondary courses in management, supervisory, or related fields. • Ability to use assorted computer hardware/software (example PROCORE) • Possession of a valid California Driver’s license and proof of insurance according to Board Policy • Strong project management skills • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing - Letter of Introduction (Cover Letter) - Letter(s) of Recommendation (3 letters required) - Other (Copy of Degree) - Resume
