Job Summary

Low Voltage Technician: The job of Low Voltage Technician is done for the purpose/s of performing journey level maintenance duties and responsibilities districtwide in the installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of electrical and circuits, systems and equipment; and ensuring the completion of projects in a timely manner and according to specifications. Incumbents in this classification provide students, staff and the public with well-maintained and safe building infrastructure and facilities which directly supports learning. This job reports to Director of Maintenance & Operations

Requirements / Qualifications

Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Experience: Four years of skilled maintenance work specializing in low voltage electrical work, including two years at the journeyman level or C7 licensing. Certificates & Licenses: Possession of a valid California Driver’s License with evidence of insurability.
