QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Electrical Engineering plus a minimum of five years of experience with the major job responsibilities or an equivalent combination of education and experience; • Server Administration experience; • Experience with Active Directory (AD), Exchange, Google Workspace, Single Sign On, Enterprise Backup, Enterprise Antivirus, Server Administration, and Tier 2 support desired; • Possession of an Apple OSX certification required. OVERVIEW: Manage several of the District's critical Information Technology (IT) systems, including staff email, student email, and file services (Google Applications for Education), Enterprise Backup, and Active Directory. Triage issues and provide Tier 2 support for users and Computer Support Specialists. Manage day-to-day IT operations, consumables, supplies, and computer repair operations. Support other staff members in the management of the District's server infrastructure and network. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Manage the District's Directory Services (AD); • Manage the District's email system, including the District's student email and file storage system (Google Apps for Education); • In collaboration with others, implement and manage the District's ID management and authentication tools (SSO Easy); • Manage end-user backup and restore; • Evaluate, implement, and manage Enterprise Antivirus solutions for both Mac and PC; • Implement and manage the District's technology theft-prevention and recovery solutions; • Provide day-to-day leadership for Helpdesk triage, escalation, and metrics; • Administer the Helpdesk tool; • Develop, implement, and manage processes for stocking and reordering consumables; • Develop, implement, and manage the process for pre-stocking computers for staff; • Develop, implement, and manage the technology loaner program to quickly replace failed equipment; • See more in the job description attached below.
