Join the dynamic and culturally rich community at Oakland School for the Arts (OSA), a distinguished charter school nestled in the heart of an urban environment, renowned for its innovative approach to merging the arts with rigorous academics. Serving approximately 800 students in grades 6-12, OSA operates as an independent LEA under the El Dorado County Charter SELPA and embraces a full-inclusion model where students engage in both general education and arts courses. We are seeking a full-time 1-on-1 Paraeducator to support the academic, artistic, and social-emotional development of a neurodiverse student. This position plays a critical role in helping students access the curriculum, develop executive functioning skills, and foster self-direction, while promoting inclusion and connection in the classroom community. Reporting to the Director of Special Education, the 1-on-1 Paraeducator will collaborate closely with the student’s case manager, school psychologist, and teachers to provide consistent, individualized support aligned with the student’s IEP and educational goals.
