The UCA Athletic Coach should have a worldview and vision for athletics in-line with the school’s mission and vision statement. We are seeking a coach who is excited to grow and build the program, is excellent in planning and organizing a season with purpose, and has a strong understanding of the sport and ability to teach and strategize with professionalism and maturity. General Description: The Athletic Coach is responsible for organizing and executing their sport program at United Christian Academy. He/she is responsible for coaching student athletes in competive playing techniques to prepare them for events and competitions. He/she is to motivate student atheletes to develop an appreciation of the sport. UCA recognizes our mission as integral part of the 5-fold ministry given to the church in Ephesians 4:11-13. As such, UCA coaches serve as ministers to help advance the mission and vision of United Christian Academy. Reports to: The head coach will report to the Athletic Director. JV and Assistant coaches will collaborate with the head coach to build a school wide program philosophy for the sport. Reports to: Athletic Director Grade Levels: 6th - 8th Grade Work Schedule: 12-18 hours per week from October through February.
