Job Summary Under the supervision of the assigned manager, the Internal Budget and Accounting Analyst position performs data processing and field-specific analysis for the county office, school districts and/or charter schools. This position may also provide technical assistance and support in field-specific data processing to school districts and/or County Office of Education staff. Distinguishing Characteristics This is an advanced-level position which requires independent analysis and decision-making. An analyst provides support and service to HCOE programs, local school districts and charter schools. They analyze various types of data sets including fiscal and demographic. An analyst also reviews data sets provided by Federal and State agencies, HCOE programs, local school districts and/or charter schools utilizing applicable laws, policies and procedures. Additionally, analysts assist others with compiling data and providing guidance to internal and external partners.
Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field and three (3) years of equivalent related experience, or Four (4) years related experience with increasing responsibility Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a school district or county office of education. At this time, unofficial transcripts are acceptable. The successful candidate will need to provide official transcripts for salary placement.
