The job of Nutrition Services Assistant I is done for the purpose/s of providing support to the educational process with specific responsibilities for food services process at assigned location; preparing food items that meet mandated nutritional requirements; verifying quantities and specifications of orders; and maintaining facilities in a safe and sanitary condition. This job is distinguished from similar jobs by the following characteristics: The Nutrition Services Assistant I is the first level in a service-oriented career ladder. Advancement opportunities within the department are based on need. This job reports to Director of Nutrition Services
