Job Summary
The Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services oversees all aspects of the District’s educational programs, including curriculum and instruction, assessment, compliance, and professional development. This position is responsible for planning, directing, and evaluating instructional systems and services to ensure alignment with district goals and state and federal mandates. The Assistant Superintendent coordinates the development and implementation of the Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP), supports the integration of technology into teaching and learning, and ensures equity and excellence in educational outcomes for all students. The position also oversees federal and state categorical programs and supervises district-wide testing and assessment. This position is responsible to the Superintendent.
