Under the direction of the Chief Technology Officer; staff the Technology Service Desk; serve as a technical resource to District and County Office personnel; Manage small technology projects and assist with larger ones; Demonstrate a broad knowledge of technology through both education and years of experience; Install, configure, troubleshoot, maintain and repair personal computers and personal computing devices. The Information Technology Support Specialist position is dependent on the needs of districts and district funding. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Two (2) years of experience in the installation and operation of information technologies in an enterprise environment. Job-related experience in the specialized field is required REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school supplemented by college-level course work in electronics, personal computer technical support and maintenance, computer science, or a closely related field Two (2) years of experience in a personal computer or server technical support role
