Job Summary
Job Summary
Schedules, plans, coordinates and reviews the transportation and grounds/plumbing activities of the district. Supervises, assigns and evaluates the performance of all personnel assigned to transportation, grounds and vehicle maintenance. i.e.: grounds/bus drivers, driver trainers, vehicle / small engine mechanics and other classifications as assigned. Coordinates maintenance and repairs of all district vehicles and small engine equipment. Recommends vehicle and equipment replacement. Prepares bus routes and field trip schedules. Conducts district safety program and maintains emergency communications essential to student safety. Performs other duties as required by the district.
Requirements / Qualifications
APPLICATION PACKET MUST INCLUDE: Letter of Interest Current Resume 3 Recent Letters of Reference AA or Equivalent (Training/Skills of five years in paid experience performing journey-level duties) Preferably two years of increasingly responsible experience in transportation and/or safety
