Nevada City School of the Arts (NCSOTA), a TK-8 charter school in operation since 1994, is seeking a dynamic, culturally aware, stimulating and qualified Receptionist to join our team. JOB TITLE: Receptionist I SCHEDULE: 2025/26 School Year - Full-time 37.5 hrs/wk WAGE: $18.20 - $27.53 per hour, depending on experience SUMMARY: The Nevada City School of the Arts (NCSOTA) Receptionist is the first point of contact for visitors to the school, parents, staff and students. As the "face" of the school, the receptionist should be welcoming, personable, helpful and able to represent the school in a professional and friendly manner. In addition, it is essential that the person for this role is organized, able to multitask, work flexibly and have a "can do" approach to work, as no two days are the same. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Welcome parents, students, staff and public to NCSA in a professional and friendly manner Greet, direct, and monitor visitors Answer phone and direct calls, taking and communicating accurate and legible messages as necessary Respond to routine inquiries by callers and visitors Maintain professional and friendly working relationships with staff, students, vendors, and community and contribute as a team member Record tardy students using student information system (Synergy) Assist with attendance coding and absence reasons from parents Administer student first aid as necessary, monitor ill students, and ensure proper completion of accident reports Monitor students referred to the office for disciplinary action Make calls to parents and arrange for student pick-up as needed Monitor student behavior in hallways and bathrooms For more information, or to apply now, you must go to the website below.
