Must qualify for or possess a valid California Designated Subjects Special Subjects teaching credential authorizing ROTC instruction. If no credential is held, candidate will be required to obtain a recommendation for a California Designated Subjects Special Subjects: ROTC teaching credential from a Commission-approved university program. In addition, the candidate must obtain an English learner authorization after employment within the time frame set forth by the District. Other certification: Must have NJROTC Instructor Certification prior to start date. EDUCATION: Must possess a Bachelor's Degree.

Comments and Other Information
Employment is subject to and contingent upon the completion of a criminal background check by the California Department of Justice. Convictions of certain crimes, including, but not limited to sex and narcotics offenses and serious and violent felonies, as specified in the Education and Penal Codes, will bar employment with the District. In addition, employee will be required to provide a current verification of a negative TB test prior to employment.
