Job Summary

Position Summary: Under the general supervision of the Deputy Superintendent and primary oversight by the Statewide Residency Technical Assistance Center (SRTAC) Northern California Hub Lead, the Teacher Residency Program Manager organizes and oversees teacher residency expansion grant and provides primary leadership for the Northern California Education Specialist Teacher Residency Consortium (NCESTRC) as well as the HCOE internal residency programs in P-3, special education and school nursing. Additionally, this position will be responsible for the Education First grant (exploration of teacher apprenticeships) and they will assist with technical assistance for teacher residencies within the Northern Region for the State Residency Technical Assistance Center’s (SRTAC).

Requirements / Qualifications

Education and Experience: Any combination equivalent to a Master’s degree in education or related field. Five (5) years increasing responsibility and experience in leadership administration, professional staff development, residency programs, collaboration with universities, community colleges, curriculum development or credentialing at a COE site and/or district level. License and Other Requirements: Valid California Elementary, Secondary Teaching Credential or Special Education Credential Valid California driver’s license
