Job Summary

Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Food Service Department manager or designee, and at the direction of a Food Service Lead I and/or Lead II, assists in the ordering, receiving, storage, preparation, service, and sales of food in a cafeteria, snack bar, mobile cart, or designated location for breakfast and lunch programs, a la carte sales, and catering. Cleans kitchen equipment and service utensils and does related tasks as required. Assists in the completion of daily documentation related to the preparation and service of food. Assists in the maintenance of all required Hazard Analysis at Critical Control Points (HACCP) temperature logs, inspection documentation and related reports. May count and reconcile cash. All job functions are completed while maintaining HACCP and Serve Safe standards, state & local Health Codes, and District standards and policies and support the District goals.
