Job Summary

The Human Resources Director, under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent, Human Resources, is responsible for all functions relating to Human Resources services including the development, planning, management, analysis, and evaluation of all programs related to active and retired certificated, classified, administration, and non-represented personnel. This position requires knowledge in the use of applicable software programs for data entry and management to support Human Resources. The director works closely with the Assistant Superintendent, Human Resources, on matters concerning services and programs.

Requirements / Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Possession of a valid California Clear Administrative Services Credential; • Possession of a valid California teaching credential in Kindergarten to grade 12; • Master’s degree in Education Administration or a related field from a regionally accredited college or university; • Five (5) years of experience working as an administrator in a district, school site or county office; of which a minimum of two (2) years must be in a personnel/human resources management position.
