Comments and Other Information
Required:
Minimum five (5) years teaching experience or related experience in education
Minimum three (3) years administrative/leadership experience
Strong Tk-8 grade curriculum background
Experience directing/supervising the work of other adults
Foundational knowledge of the California Common Core Standards (CCCS) and technology integration
Ability to keep current with the wide array of technology available for education
Experience in professional development and training
Strongly Preferred:
Prior experience in Special Education leadership
Master’s Degree in Educational Administration, Special Education, Psychology, or Counseling and Guidance
Instructional leadership in Special Education
School site level leadership experience
District Office administrative experience
Upon hire:
Fingerprint clearance through the Department of Justice - appointment will be made with TCOE
