Job Summary

Job Summary

The El Dorado County Office of Education is seeking a collaborative Special Education Program Administrator with demonstrated expertise in all aspects of operating programs for students with extensive support needs to join our team. In partnership with our 14 local school districts, Special Services provides early intervention services for children from birth to age three, preschool assessments, as well as classroom-based services for students with extensive support needs from preschool through adult transition. The Program Administrator provides direct leadership to classroom and itinerant teams, fosters strong partnerships with district and school site staff, and ensures high-quality program implementation. Requirements / Qualifications

Education Required: Credential in School Administration required; Master’s Degree preferred. Experience Required: Five (5) or more years comprehensive and directly related, progressive experience beyond experience required to obtain an appropriate CA Teaching Credential and Administrative Services Credential. Supervisory responsibility is required and experience with Special Education programs is desirable.
