Located in North San Diego County, Escondido Union School District is home to 24 schools- 17 elementary schools, 1 intermediate school, 1 specialty school, and 5 middle schools- and is a provider of the California State Preschool Program. ~ Desired Characteristics: A strong commitment to access and equity for all students. A strong commitment to promoting cultural proficiency within the organization and community. Experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs that advance student achievement. Knowledgeable of the needs of English Language Learners and Gifted and Talented Students. Experience with Dual Immersion Programs. ~ Credential Requirement: 1. Valid California Administrative Services Credential ~ Experience Requirement: Three (3) years of administrative experience in addition to five (5) or more years of experience as a classroom teacher. ~ Education: Master's degree desired; advanced education in curriculum and instruction preferred.
