The Washington Union School District, established in 1868, has a long history of academic excellence and high expectations for students. As a result, our students receive a strong foundation in all academic subjects and are well-prepared to assume the challenges of high school. Washington Union serves approximately 750 students and is located off of Highway 68 between Salinas and Monterey. In partnership with Monterey County Office of Education (MCOE), Washington Union also offers a New Teacher Induction Program with a state approved Curriculum by which new teachers attain their Professional Clear Credential.
