Job Description: Bellflower Unified School District is seeking a passionate and highly qualified Dual Immersion Elementary Teacher (Spanish) to join the team at Intensive Learning Center (ILC). This position supports our 90/10 Spanish-English Dual Language Immersion Program, fostering bilingualism, biliteracy, and cross-cultural competencies. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in instructional strategies for dual language learners and a commitment to equitable, high-quality education for all students. About Intensive Learning Center (ILC): The Intensive Learning Center (ILC) is an innovative elementary school within Bellflower Unified School District that serves a diverse student body and is home to the district’s Spanish Dual Language Immersion Program. ILC is committed to fostering high academic achievement, bilingualism, and biculturalism in a supportive and inclusive environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Provide instruction in Spanish and English aligned with grade-level standards and the Dual Immersion model. * Promote language development and academic achievement in both languages. * Collaborate with colleagues to design integrated curriculum and dual language assessments. * Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students. * Communicate effectively with families in both Spanish and English. * Engage in professional development related to bilingual education and best practices.

Minimum Qualifications: * Valid California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential * BCLAD authorization in Spanish (or equivalent required for Spanish instruction) * English Learner Authorization (CLAD or equivalent) * Demonstrated oral and written fluency in Spanish and English Preferred Qualifications: * Experience in a Dual Language Immersion or bilingual classroom setting * Knowledge of second language acquisition strategies and biliteracy development * Strong cultural competency and inclusive teaching practices
