Job Summary
This position is funded by a 2-yr grant. Under general direction of Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services and under the supervision of designated administrator, provides coordination and oversight of school-based mental health and wellness services as a member of a school team; provides direct mental health and wellness services and case management to students and families; assists in the development and delivery of school-wide mental health and wellness interventions, programs, and trainings; provides clinical supervision, consultation, oversight, and technical assistance to assigned pre-licensed social workers, including interns, to ensure the delivery of a clinically sound comprehensive program; performs other related duties as assigned; serves as a member of the site and district team and integrates within the school-wide culture and system; provides behavioral health support within a multi-tiered intervention framework and engages in prevention and intervention activities; provides mental health and wellness related support services to district staff and educational teams, including case consultation and advice concerning student status, diagnosis, and treatment; serves as a technical resource to school site staff regarding mental health services; assesses the need and delivers training to members of the educational team, parents, guardians, caregivers, and community agencies, as appropriate.
Requirements / Qualifications
Valid California State License in Clinical Social Work (LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT). License in Clinical Social Work is preferred. OR Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) in School Social Work (preferred) or School Counseling. Valid California Driver's license
