Community Outreach Specialist (4-YEAR GRANT FUNDED POSITION) at Live Oak Unified
Requirements / Qualifications
Completion of a Master’s degree in social work, professional clinical counseling or related field. Experience working with foster youth, probation, Child Protective Services (CPS), Foster Family Agencies, group homes and/or Licensed Children’s Institutions (LCIs). Possession of a valid California credential, or equivalent, which authorizes pupil personnel services as a school social worker/counselor, or be willing to obtain within the first year of employment. Valid California Class C driver’s license issued by the California Department of Motor Vehicles within 30 days of hire or before driving any vehicle requiring this license. Must have ability to work harmoniously with general public, administrators, teachers, staff and students. Final employment is contingent upon receipt, in the district office, of fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
