Performs skilled quantity food production and service in specified areas at school site level. Schedule: Monday-Friday, School Year Only – 181 Days/Year 4 hrs/day: 12:30 pm – 4:30 pm Location: Redwood/Junior High Cafeteria

Minimum Qualifications & Abilities:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in quantity food service.
- Knowledge of principles and methods of quantity food preparation, serving, and storage.
- Knowledge of care and use of food service equipment.
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation procedures relating to food preparation and serving.
- Ability to effectively work under supervision with others and to effectively assist other food service personnel.
Essential Functions:
- Participates in preparation and serving of school breakfast, lunch, and component menu items.
- Assists in receiving and storing of food and supplies.
- Maintains satisfactory performance standards in food preparation techniques.
- Assisting in food preparation, baking, and cooking.
- Serving of food to students and staff.
- Cleaning, including but not limited to washing dishes, carts, food racks and walls, scrubbing floors, wiping tables, and emptying trash.
- Assisting with food and supply inventories.
- Operates register and collects student lunch tickets.
- Performs other duties as assigned by Superintendent or designee.
